Situated on the second floor of Magna Plaza in Amsterdam (Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 182) you can find The Food Department. Spread out over a surface of 1.100m² a new destination has emerged in one of Amsterdam’s finest buildings. A food hall bringing both locals and travelers together to enjoy culinary highlights in a casual ambiance with amazing views. Matts Wonderland is located at the great spot overlooking the Dam Square. Once you will enter the second floor, there is no way you can miss out on our extravagant designed stand with the little sparkling lights!

Food and Drinks

Fun, life and above all flavour, three keywords that fit our concept perfectly. With our one of a kind hotdogs and abundantly colourful milkshakes, we can only but bring the kid out in people. Matts Wonderland wants to take you on an adventure, with our unique flavours we promise to take you for a hell of a ride. Creating a new kind of hotdog, toasted buns, chicken (100% halal) and vegetarian sausages, all American style with a modern twist. The thrill doesn’t stop there! Get ready to try our famous milkshakes, freshly made with vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream, candy and sweets. Of course, a menu like this also asks for some fries, flavoured with different spices and herbs. And for all pleasure seekers we also have sundae ice cream, popcorn, sweets and candies. It will feel like a day at the fair, where you can walk around picking the best rides that are out there. However, this time, you will be able to enjoy them from a seat that overlooks the majestic palace situated alongside Dam Square. Want to get aboard this ride? About us

From the same owners as Bulls and Dogs we came up with a new little brother to our hotdog family. With the experience we already had in the food business we wanted to create a new concept with a different look and feel and a brand new menu.

We work with the same local butcher from Amsterdam, together we made new flavoured sausages from chicken, beef and veggies. With our bread supplier we had to come up with a different bun, this time a softer bread that is toasted on the grill with butter for the extra crispiness. But that’s not all we have to offer. The menu is all American inspired with over the top milkshakes, topped up fries, funky sundae ice cream, popcorn and sweets and candies.

The theme we worked from is carnaval, circus, a day at the fair. The boys from V3rs made the concept complete making a branding and design for our stand. With the little sparkling lights and the wonderful colours there is no way you don’t want to stop over and enjoy our food and drinks. It all comes together at Matts Wonderland!
